MOOSE POINT LODGE

Maine has a moose population of approximately 60,000, second only to Alaska in the United States, and the hunting is exceptional.

 

Maine Moose tags are issued through a lottery, as well as a select number though an auction process, with approximately 4,000 tags awarded per year. We are located in the middle of WMD2, but have good access to zone 5 as well. If you are lucky enough to draw a tag in our region, Moose Point Lodge is prepared to provide you with an exceptional experience, both in camp, and in the field. Our guides are avid moose hunters, and spend months scouting and preparing for those three golden weeks in September and October.
